Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Anchor & Align platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Anchor & Align is a clinically-informed digital wellbeing tool designed to help users align their time use with their values and biological rhythms. It provides AI-driven insights, time auditing, and sovereignty protocols.

Important Disclaimer: The Service is NOT a medical device, healthcare provider, or crisis intervention service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental health condition. It is a self-stewardship aid intended for educational and informational purposes only.

3. User Accounts & Security

  • Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and encryption recovery phrase. If you lose your recovery phrase, your data cannot be recovered. Anchor & Align cannot reset your encryption keys due to our Zero-Knowledge architecture.
  • Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Our IP: The Service, including its code, design, algorithms (including the Coherence Index™ and AthenaSynthesis™ Framework), and trademarks, are owned by Anchor & Align Ltd. and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create on the Service (journals, audits, reflections). You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service. Due to encryption, we cannot view or use your content for any other purpose.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service’s encryption or security features (including the Vantablack Covenant™).
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Upload malware or viruses.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANCHOR & ALIGN LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anchor & Align Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
